Last picture taken with my mother.

Mom lived until she was 81.  She wanted to be cremated and her ashes placed near her father and sister Blanche up in the Santa Catalina Mountains.

My first opportunity to place her ashes back in Tucson was in 2011 when I attended my nephew Christophers weddding.  During my visit I drove up to Mt Lemmon and to the location over looking Tucson where my Grand father and aunts ashes were placed.  To my surprise the road was widened near the spot I remembered placing their ashes.  What should I now do with mom's?

I decided I wanted something special for my mom so I took her ashes back with me to Sandy Utah.

During the time Kassie and I lived at the Rosegate Apartments on the 4th floor facing Salt Lake City (now called the Cottages) I was surprised to see the expansion of the Sandy City Cemetery less than a block away.

Our apartment balcony had the best view of Sandy City Cemetery and almost daily I watched the expansion being made to the west end of the cemetery.

It wasn't long before I could see a cremation niche wall being built.  My waiting for the perfect spot for my mothers ashed was taking shape right before my eyes.
Only God could provide me with the perfect place for my mom less than a year later.  Thanks you Jesus.

During my time waiting for the cemetery expansion project to be finished (you can see our balcony in the picture above) I got busy planning what I wanted engraved on mom's niche face.  In fact I blasted her finished stone myself after we moved to a house in Holladay. I still have some vintage Rayzist equipment and do my designing and blasting right in my large garage in beautiful Holladay Utah.

10/10/2021 After living in Utah for a total of eight years to be closer to our grandsons, Izzak, Lincoln and Cole (now all teenagers), Kassie and I decided to move back to the East Coast so we could spend more time with our daughter Noelle's family and our first Great grandson Holden.  All living in Georgia.  But on our way East we wanted to spend the winter in Florida. Naples and Fort Myers.

Our moving out of our (4 yr) Holladay Utah home was quite an undertaking, we were going to get rid of everything. More info on that adventure HERE.

5/3/2022 Ellijay GA to Noelle & Johns

The month of May we found a little cabin in the Blueridge Mountains 30 miles above Ellijay. Our grand daughter Sarah Bramlette and her husband Lucus had the whole family over to their weekend Houseboat on the lake. What a wonderful time

We spent the Spring, Summer and Fall of 2022 at the beautiful Coosawattee River Resort in Northern Georgia.

For those who don't know, I was blessed by God in 1983 to learn how He wrote the Ten Commandments into stone for Moses (twice) and He even allowed me to apply for and be granted a U.S. patent.  Never before has the world wide granite monument industry ever had the ability to engrave pictures and unlimited lettering into stone surfaces as seen below.

But be careful If you zoom in for a closeup of the lettering on the stone below and see the web link to my mothers story on the Internet, you will see a short code no longer working by the sep.me company.  They shut down their free short code service. Don't blast anything into stone you can't trust to last forever. God willing this one on MemKpr.com for my Mom will always work. I never placed her ashes in the Sandy City niche.  When I visited Tucson in 2021 I placed her ashes together with her Father and Sister up in the Catalina Mountains.

Oh by the way, God also encouraged me to start a company called Rayzist Photomask Inc.  We are now the largest in the world supplying Monument Shops, Glass & Crystal Engravers and Stone Decorators with our Rayzist Photomsking and all the equipment needed to personalize any blastable surface such as glass, wood or stone.

Below is the engraved niche face I blasted for my mother in-law.  Unlimited lettering is now possible for the first time.

Can you see the new possibilities we now have to share more information on stone surfaces than ever before.  Why not engrave an entire obituary on stone that will last thousands of years.

For less than the cost of printing this in the news paper for a single weekend, you can now have it etched in stone to last an eternity. More info at: www.HonorLife.com

Wow, you really got me going.  I just wanted to let you know there are now many new ways of saving memories and ways each of us can take advantage of the new technology.  Now that we have Cloud data storage so easly available you can go on and on with stories of your past memories.  You are no longer limited to just, Rest In Peace, Name and birth - death dates.

If you got this far, I trust you enjoyed my little story of how not getting to scatter my mothers ashes in the mountains of Tucson, created a whole new method of telling lasting stories for families to enjoy forever.

I am totally grateful and thank my Heavenly Father for a better way for all of us to remember our loved ones.

Maybe you and your family would each like to have a 4"x 4" memory stone of a cremated loved one who does not have a grave-site to visit and share lasting love.
